Critical Energy Infrastructure Protection
The Michigan electric cooperative Critical Energy Infrastructure Protection (CEIP) group exists for three main purposes:
READINESS: A resource for issues related to cyber or physical security risk, vulnerabilities, and/or events (best practices)
COMPLIANCE: A Taskforce for Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) compliance for issues related to cyber and/or physical security.
MUTUAL AID: A quick-response team when cyber and/or physical security events occur.
Membership & Governance
The CEIP group is open to all Michigan co-op employees who have cyber or physical security responsibilities within their co-op. Members of the group collaboratively determine topics, meetings and events that benefit the group.
