Cherryland Electric Co-op has launched a new website to help their members stay updated and take advantage of all the co-op’s programs and services.

Included is information about energy efficiency rebates, online account management and history, scholarships, board meeting minutes, and co-op news and events.

“Our goal was to create an easy-to-use web experience, and members can access the website from anywhere. The site uses a responsive design to make sure members have an equally awesome web experience on a smartphone or tablet as they do on a PC,” explains Rachel Johnson, the co-op’s grassroots advocate and members services manager.

Members first need to set up a SmartHub® account with the co-op, and then they can log-in anytime and pay their bill or view their most recent electric usage.

Other new features include highlights of pertinent co-op news and events right on the homepage, an interactive “get to know your bill” feature that helps members manage and understand their monthly bill, and a new space for blogging. Since its launch earlier this month, Cherryland’s blog has already received more than 140 comments from member-owners.
