A timeline is set and milestones are being met for the new Alpine Power Plant in Elmira Township, near Gaylord. Wolverine Power Supply Cooperative Inc. (Cadillac) has received approvals from various entities to move forward with the natural gas-fueled electricity generating plant.
“Things are progressing nicely and we remain on target,” says project spokesman, Ken Bradstreet. “The members of the planning commissions and boards of Elmira Township and Otsego County have voted unanimously to approve our applications, sending the message that this project is widely supported.”
